We are studying a biomimetic system with the intention of reproducing the behavior of cell membranes and to overcome the limitations of Supported Lipid Bilayers (SLB). In particular, we are developing strategies using a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) with tunable properties, as a soft support capable of interacting with the Influenza virus.
